 Ray Schooley Sr. has been racing professionally since 1982 and was hired on as a factory team rider for Yamaha in 1986 to race the Baja 1000 in Class 25 Open 4-Wheel Quad. Ray Schooley Sr. raced for Yamaha 1986 to 1989. In 1989, Ray Schooley Sr. quit racing temporarily due the birth of his son, Ray Schooley Jr.
Ray Schooley Racing,
along with Ray Schooley, Ryan Wheeler - owner of TBR Products,
and Tony Baker have acquired Bombardier-ATV as a major sponsor
for the 2004 season. Ray Schooley Racing will compete in
the 2004 Series, Sidewinder Motorsports/District 38 AMA
and the Fab 4 Desert Series aboard a Bombardier DS650 Baja
X.
